Error: SBL-UIF-50103 and SBL-UIF-00369: The Web engine is not licensed for use or the license has expired

After the first Siebel login page, the next screen shows error or nothing. Errors in the OM Log show following information:

SBL-UIF-50103: Web engine license information: Enabled =No, Maximum Users=0, Expiration Date=.
SBL-UIF-00369: The Web engine is not licensed for use or the license has expired.

This mostly happens after installation, or after a certain period using temporary license keys.

Root cause: 

Invalid or expired license keys.

Resolution:
1. Remove the invalid or expired license keys
2. Enter the correct license keys
3. Re-start the application server.
4. Login to the application to verify the fix.

Siebel Trick: How to start a Siebel server quicker?

To start the Siebel server quicker, you can rename the Siebel server log folder before restarting the Sieber server. This is because when Siebel server starts up, it will move the log folder to the archive folder. By renaming the log folder, it helps to skip this step. Siebel server will re-create the fold when it is not there.

In my opinion, this trick helps on the development or test environment, as it usually requires frequent re-start, and it usually has bigger log files with higher log levels for debugging purpose. For production environment, since it usually has log level set to minimum level, and the request for bounce is not as frequent as other environment, it may not be that helpful.
